The Macallan Manor
The Macallan Manor was an immersive theater style whisky tasting designed to introduce new consumers to luxury Scotch expressions. I worked as the Assistant Creative Director for Adam Aleksander Presents, a boutique production company handling the event. In my role I managed the team putting together our promo video, which can be viewed on the event website. I provided creative direction to the graphic designer and website developer. The custom website uses a parallax design and includes many imaginative features. I also worked with the set designer to bring our creative vision to life. I was part of the creative process throughout preproduction and worked with the production team to make our ideas tangible. The event was a major success on social media and was attended by over 2k participants over the course of the tour.

The experience
Participants followed their guide through a series of environments, each designed to illustrate a step in the creation of The Macallan Scotch whisky. I was responsible for casting and training the actors who told the story of this process, led whisky tastings, and shaped participants’ experience. I co-wrote the script and worked directly with clients to craft the narrative.
